How to use the customer-facing display

Step 1: Start an order

Add an item to the cart, so there is an order to show. Then press the Customer Display button - the screen icon at the far right of the search row.

Step 2: Put it in front of the customer

The display opens in its own window. Drag that window onto the screen facing the customer and make it full screen. It shows your logo and the register name, the subtotal, tax and Total, and every item with its quantity and price. It updates as you ring items up.

Good to know

• If you show a second currency on the POS, the display shows the totals in it too.
• Choose what the screen shows between customers in Settings > Business > Display Screen (Default Home Screen or Advertisement Display).
• If the window does not open, allow pop-ups for ChecKmate in your browser.
