How to set role permissions (what each user can see and do)
Step 1: Open Role Permissions
Open User Management and choose the Role Permissions tab. Each module (Point of Sale, Invoicing and so on) opens to show every role side by side.
Step 2: Switch actions on or off
Open a module and switch each action on or off for each role - for example, let cashiers Create Sale but not Manage Payments. Hide Module removes the module from that role's dashboard completely.
Step 3: Save
As soon as you change something, Save Changes and Reset Changes appear. Press Save Changes to apply them, or Reset Changes to undo.
Create your own role
Press Add Role. Give it a Role name (for example Shift Supervisor) and description, and choose whether to Start from an existing role's permissions or from blank. Press Create Role, then adjust its switches and save.
See who did what
The Audit Log tab lists user activity - search it, filter by action, or press Export CSV.
Good to know
- Business Admin permissions are protected and cannot be changed.
- Some basics are locked on (for example viewing the POS for cashiers) so the app keeps working.
