How to send WhatsApp marketing messages

Step 1: Start a campaign

Open Marketing > WhatsApp and press New Campaign.

Step 2: Content

WhatsApp marketing goes out as an approved WhatsApp template, so it reaches customers whether or not they have messaged you recently. The wording is fixed when Meta approves the template - only the customer's name, your business name and number change. Give the campaign a name and check What they will read.

Step 3: Audience and schedule

On Audience, choose All Customers, Top Customers (ranked by purchases or loyalty points), a Segment or Manual Recipients. On Schedule, pick when it goes (in your business time) and press Send Test Message first. Then Save Draft, Schedule or Send Now.

Good to know

• If you see that no approved template was found, the template is not set up yet - contact us through Submit a Ticket and we will help.
• You can also select customers in Smart CRM and press Send WhatsApp Campaign.
• WhatsApp messages use your plan's message allowance.
