How to send orders to the kitchen display and print kitchen tickets

Send the order

With the items in the cart, press Order (or F10) - Print order to kitchen. The ticket prints on your order printer and appears on the kitchen display. You will see Order Sent.

Open the kitchen display

On the register screen, press Kitchen Display (restaurant businesses). It opens in its own window - put it on a screen in the kitchen and choose the kitchen station.

Working the tickets

Each ticket shows its items, notes and the order note. The kitchen presses Start when cooking begins, Ready when it is ready, and Done when it has gone out. Mute notifications, refresh, or (admins) clear all orders from the header.

Good to know

• Set up an Order Printer in Settings > Printers - kitchen tickets have no prices.
