How to send an update or announcement to customers

Before you start: switch on the Marketing Agent

Updates are sent by the Marketing Agent. In Customers & Invoicing, open Send an Update. If it says Updates are switched off, press Open the Marketing Agent, turn the agent on and allow Send broadcasts you approve.

Step 1: Write the update

Back on Send an Update, choose who it goes to - Every subscribed customer or one customer group. Write a Headline and the Message, and add a Link if you like (for example to your online store).

Step 2: Choose how it goes

Switch on Email, Text message and/or WhatsApp.

Step 3: Send

Press Send broadcast. ChecKmate asks Send to N people? - check the number and press Send it. An update cannot be recalled once it has gone.

Good to know

• Only customers who have not unsubscribed receive updates.
