How to see ingredient usage and low-stock ingredients

Low and out-of-stock ingredients

In Recipe & Ingredients > All Items, open Low & Out of Stock. The counts at the top show how many items are out and how many are low. Each item shows its stock, how fast you use it (velocity), a Suggested Purchase, its supplier and which products use it. Filter by status or type, choose how many days to buy for, and press Create Purchase Order for the items you tick.

An ingredient counts as low when it drops below the Low Stock Threshold set on the ingredient.

Adding stock

On the Items tab, press + on the ingredient. Enter the amount in the purchase unit (for example boxes) - ChecKmate converts it to the recipe unit for you - add a note and press Add Stock.

Usage analytics

Open the Analytics tab and pick the dates. You see total ingredients, total movements and quantity moved, and the Top 10 Ingredients by Transaction Count. Switch between Ingredients and Materials.
