How to scan barcodes with a scanner or the device camera

With a barcode scanner

Plug in or pair the scanner and scan the item. The scanner types into the search bar (Search by name, UID, or barcode) and the product goes straight into the cart. Most USB and Bluetooth scanners work with no set-up.

With the camera

Press the camera button beside the search bar (Scan barcode with camera). Point the camera at the barcode. Use Flip to switch cameras and Restart if it stops.

If nothing is found

You will see Not Found. Check the product has that barcode (on its Barcodes tab), or add it on the spot - see How to add a product from the POS. Scanning a customer's loyalty card barcode selects the customer.
