How to run a referral program

Step 1: Switch it on

Open Marketing > Referrals. Turn on Enable referral program, set the Reward percentage - it applies to both the customer who refers and the new customer - and press Save.

For more control - a different reward for each side, how long rewards last, a minimum purchase and whether rewards stack with other discounts - go to Settings > Referrals.

Step 2: Share referral codes

Every customer has a Referral Code on their profile. They can share it by WhatsApp, SMS or email, and the profile shows invites sent, completed referrals and active rewards. The code also shows at checkout.

Step 3: Use it at the POS

When a new customer was referred, select them at checkout, choose the referral channel under How did you hear about us? and enter the Referral Code. Rewards earned show in the Referral Reward Available box at checkout - press Apply.

• A referral code can only be used once per new customer.
