How to archive or hide a product without deleting it

Products that have been sold or invoiced cannot be deleted, because your records still need them. Instead, make them unavailable - they disappear from the POS and invoices, and their history stays.

Make products unavailable

Open Products in list view, tick the products, open Bulk Actions and choose Make Unavailable.

To hide a product at just one branch, edit it and switch Available off for that branch on the Inventory tab. To keep it on the POS but off your website, switch off Visible on Website.

Bring them back

Press Inventory > Unavailable Products. You see every unavailable or archived product, marked Branch Unavailable or Archived. Press Restore on one, or Restore All.

Good to know

• Unavailable products still appear in old sales, reports and stock history.
