How to create discount campaigns and standard discounts

Step 1: Open Discounts

In Customers & Invoicing, open Discounts. Your running promotions are under Campaigns and Standard Discounts. Press Add Campaign for a buy-X-get-Y offer, or Add Discount for a spend-or-buy-and-save discount.

A campaign (Buy X get Y)

Enter the Campaign Name (for example Buy 2 Get 1 Free), choose the Campaign Type, what it Applies To (all products, specific products or categories), the branches, and the start and end dates. Then set the rules - what the customer must buy and what they get. The Campaign Preview shows the offer as you build it.

A standard discount

Choose the branch, name the campaign and set the dates. Under Campaign Rules, enter When customer buys (a number of items or an amount) and They get discount (a percentage or amount). Choose which products and customers it applies to, and press Create Campaign.

Good to know

• At the POS, a matching campaign is offered under Add Discount > Campaign; on invoices it shows under Discount Campaigns & Bundles.
• Campaigns stop on their end date by themselves.
