How to add variant & prices for attribute values in Checkmate POS
Instead of adding a different product for one that has different flavours or sizes for example, you can add them as variants by assigning attributes and values to it.
1. Navigate to the products module and select 'Manage Variants'.
2. Create an attribute and determine if you it should be a single selection or multiple selection where your customers can select multiple options. Eg. a multiple selection could be toppings where your customer would be able to add several toppings to a product.
3. Select add attribute.
4. Begin adding the values by entering their names and pressing the plus at the right to save them.
5. Add or edit a product; then, navigate to the 'Variants' tab.
6. Select enable Variants toggle so that it comes on and select the attribute you want to add to the product.
7. Press 'Select all' or select the values you want.
8. Input the additional prices in the available slots and then select add selected variants. The additional prices will be added to the base price or branch price that you had set for the product.
9. Scroll up to select 'Save Variants'.
10. Select 'Update product'.
11. Navigate to POS to start selling the product.
